Government Perspectives and Roles on Anchor Collaboratives

October 18th, 12 - 1pm EST/ 9 - 10am PST
City Governments are key players within many place-based collaboratives - sometimes they are the inspiration or catalyst for the collaborative, sometimes they serve as the backbone, and other other times they participate as an anchor institution. In this webinar, we will explore examples of how city governments participate in local collaboratives through answering questions such as how this work aligns with the mission of the city government and what risks are involved with the sustainability of this work given transitions.

Tanisha Jumper | Program Manager of Tacoma 2025 and Director of Media & Communications, City of Tacoma, WA
Lomax Campbell | Director of the Office of Community Wealth Building, Rochester, NY
